Outreach and Dissemination

I am invested in public knowledge dissemination, whether at conferences, in local communities, or in educational settings.

Collaborators and Affiliations

My research extends beyond academia through active partnerships with community organizations, healthcare institutions, and industry collaborators.

Partnering with advocacy groups, rehabilitation centers, and interdisciplinary networks enables co-development of research projects and solutions that enhance accessibility, well-being, and inclusion. These collaborations ensure that my work remains responsive to the lived experiences of those it seeks to support, fostering meaningful change through research-informed practice.

Early Professionals, Inspired Careers in AgeTech (EPIC-AT) Health Research Training Program

As a recipient of this one-year competitive fellowship grant, I am committed to continuing my learning through participating in cross-platform activities, workshops, and courses to develop, implement, and evaluate solutions that improve the lives of older adults.

2024

The AGE-WELL Summer Institute Co-Creating Possibilities: Autonomy and Independence focused on creating solutions to help older adults to live independently and improve their quality of life. Working in a multidisciplinary team alongside stakeholders with lived experience, we developed an app that helps individuals with hearing loss better follow group discussions in challenging acoustic environments, ultimately winning the final Summer Institute pitch competition.
